I learned photography in high school, videography soon after, and computing (pre-Mac).
I, now, combine all these tools, and more, for communication needs of my employer.
My tools: 20D, XL1s, DSR-500, DCR TRV330, G5, G4, MacMini, 2 Mac editors at work, HCH, ZX900r, 12" PB, iPhone v1, Dell Insperion at work, and the many, many commercial, shareware, freeware and open-source apps out there!
Once said to me, "You just come up with the ideas, we'll do the rest." Oooh, to know back then what I know now!

I often tell late comers, "You don't have to count down from 24 or 36 anymore!"

Okay, I can understand a stereo with a cruiser, but on on sport bike? We ride sport bikes for the high RPMs, the high pitch of the exhaust (like F1 racing!), handling, etc. Maybe, I’m just to ‘old fashion’, or just ‘old’, eh?

When I saw this season’s CBS Amazing Race, the son of the father-son team looked just like the actor that was opposite Jack Black in School of Rock. Well, I just heard he is THE actor! I guess I wasn’t paying attention during the first episode when they mentioned their backgrounds!

A type of plastic guide broke and turned a basic tube cutting process into a real pain of having it happen and having to run to the hardware store twice!

You need two Skype accounts. At one location, log into your Skype account and set the client to auto-answer and turn on the webcam. From work, call the home account! Oh, turn off/down your audio on your home system, and if you have a microphone, you’ll be able to hear room noise! I used it to watch some window installers!

What I did, Monday, to make me happy (so far) is my investment in one stock. I won’t say which one since that company and its competitors are one topic in this whole economic mess. For a year, I setup an automatic transfer from my personal banking account a few bucks per check to eTrade where I had a few shares of something. I moved my meager funds to my trading account and bit the bullet. Well, I saw the low number months ago, and since, hated that I didn’t buy then. Well, I bought this Monday at $1.78. Here’s some fictional shares (I don’t want someone nit-picking my deal!) and why I’m happy...today.
Say, 1,000 shares (not my real share purchase quantity, but used for easy math) purchased at $1.78 (my real purchase number). I don’t care, yet, especially today, if I’m ahead or not! I may at a later date and time, but with my pain pills and the stocks close, I’m happy, today.
The stock closed at $2.22, so, here goes...pay attention.
The total of the closing price minus the purchase price per stock, multiplied by the amount of shares purchase!
Here it is:
($2.22 - $1.78)*1000 = $440.00!
For my first time, and the amount I make at my job, DAMN GOOD, DAMN GREAT, DAMN GOOD DAY!
